Termination or Closure of School
Private school operators are to read thoroughly the Step-by-Step Guide for application to update on the termination/closure of private school online as attached below (Guide is correct as at 30 June 2006):

Private schools may terminate/close the private school online through the Online Business Licensing Service (OBLS). Please ensure the following items are carried out before logging on to the online application:
- read the information on this webpage thoroughly
- prepare the supporting documents
- application is to be made only by an existing member of the School's Committee of Management
Note: The private school is to discharge all its obligations to students and staff before terminating/closing the private school.

Supporting Documents
Please prepare the following supporting documents prior to logging online:
- Note from Partners (if ownership of school is a partnership business or a limited liability partnership) or Directors’ Resolution (if ownership of school is a company) stating that all obligations to students and staff have been discharged, duly signed by all Partners/Directors and dated.
- Original Certificate of Registration of School and Classroom Accommodation Certificates (to be submitted offline).
For supporting document number 1, you may either attach it online via OBLS, mail or fax (6776 8604) it to us.
However, for supporting document number 2, please mail them to:

If you are mailing or faxing to us, please indicate your school name, online application ID, date of submission and specify “Termination of School”.
