Immersion Programme
The immersion programme allows Singaporean pupils to attend classes for a stipulated period when they are back in Singapore during their school vacation. This helps the children to get a feel of school life in Singapore and helps in easing their re-entry to the system.
How to apply
Application for the Immersion Programme can be made directly at schools, or you can write to MOE at moe_returnhome@moe.gov.sg.
Parents should provide us with the following particulars of the child:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Birth Certificate No
- Nationality
- Home Address in Singapore
- Current school attending overseas
- Current level attending overseas
- Level of immersion in Singapore school
- Duration and date for the immersion
You may like to know
You may indicate your preference for schools, but MOE is not able to guarantee immersion in any particular school as it is subjected to availability of vacancy for the level requested and the Principal’s consensus.
You will normally be required to pay for school fees for the period that your child is in school. Depending on the individual schools, you may also be required to purchase school uniforms, textbooks, etc.
