Joint Admissions Exercise Phases — Posting Phase

JAE Posting Phase

This phase is for the posting of applicants to JC/MI/Poly/ITE taking into consideration their GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results, choices and vacancies in the schools.

Posting Process

Applicants are posted to a course based on merit first according to their net aggregates scores (taking into account the various bonus points for which applicants are eligible for). Applicant with better net aggregate [with the exception of Nanyang Polytechnic’s Diploma in Nursing (C97) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Diploma in Health Sciences (N69)] will be considered for admission first, subject to the availability of vacancies in the selected course. If there is no more vacancy, then the applicant will be considered for his/her next choice course(s).

Applicants with the same net aggregate score vying for the last place in a course will be posted based on their citizenship followed by their gross aggregate score. The posting of candidates with the same gross aggregate score will be determined by a computerised ballot where each candidate is given an equal opportunity.

At the end of the exercise, applicants who were unsuccessful in getting a place in any of their applied course choices will be manually posted by MOE as follows:
