Polytechnic Preparatory Programme (PPP)
If you are successful in the DPA, you will be required to participate in an eight-week Polytechnic Preparatory Programme (PPP) conducted by the polytechnics between mid-January 2013 to March 2013.
The programme aims to:
- broaden your learning experiences
- orientate you better to the polytechnic environment
- help you to build a stronger foundation in your polytechnic studies
The PPP will include activities such as:
- industry visits
- student camps
- leadership development activities
Course Fees
The PPP is heavily subsidised by MOE to keep fees affordable. The fees for admission to the PPP in 2012 were $150 per student for Singapore Citizens, $250 per student for Singapore Permanent Residents and $400 per student for international students. The fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change. The fees for 2013 will be announced later. The polytechnics will have schemes available to help those who need financial aid. PPP participants may check with the respective polytechnics for more information on their financial assistance schemes.
