Online Form for Applicants without Teaching Qualifications — Applicants with highest qualifications obtained locally

For polytechnic students and university undergraduates, you are encouraged to apply during the final semester of your final year studies.

All candidates have to take the Entrance Proficiency Test (EPT) (if they are not exempted) before going to NIE for training.

Please read the following instructions before accessing the online application form.

  1. The estimated time required to complete the application is about 15 minutes. The actual time taken may vary due to other factors (e.g. background of candidate, full academic qualifications or working experience)
  2. You may choose to save your application as a draft. You need not complete your application in one session. Please note that application saved in draft mode will not be processed.
  3. For new users, you are required to create a new account by entering a password of your choice.
  4. The password is case-sensitive and it must contain between 8 to 30 characters.
  5. Please remember your password if you want to log in to the system again after logging out.
  6. Once you have sent in your application, no further changes can be made.
  7. Please remember to check all the information that you have entered before submitting your application.
  8. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your application to be processed. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  9. Please register for the Entrance Proficiency Test (EPT) if you are not exempted from it.
  10. Please remember to log off from the system after each session.
  11. If you had submitted an application for a teaching position in the recent 6 months and have not been successful in your application, we will not be able to consider this application unless there is new information to support the application.
  12. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
  13. Candidates shortlisted for interview will be informed of their interview outcome within 15 working days.
