Operations Manager
Job Description
As an Operations Manager, you will help to maintain general discipline in the school and will be involved in the areas of estate management, safety and security, and logistical support. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Discipline Master/Mistress (DM) in planning, implementing and enforcing the discipline policy of the school, including maintaining and analysing disciplinary records and data of pupils
- Overseeing the estate management of the school and liaising with contractors on estate maintenance work, improvement work and cleanliness of the school
- Reviewing and maintaining security and safety of the school premises and property, including the establishment of security and safety procedures and the conduct of emergency exercises
- Providing logistics support for school activities, excursions and functions such as the Speech Day, Sports Day and Meet-the-Parents Sessions
- Working with teachers in the management of student affairs which include supervising pupils during school activities and going on home visits
- Supervising a team of school attendants and providing on-the-job training to them for effective school operations
Requirements
- A local polytechnic Diploma in any discipline
- Candidates should possess at least 10 years experience in logistics, estate management, safety/emergency planning and discipline
